I just checked on it now, about 24 hours after application. I was getting worried one of my dogs would come up and lick it and kill themselves on it :( It felt greasy and still stunk something fierce. I suspect this may cause run off.Īfter an hour I came back to inspect it.
The directions say to not get it wet for 24 hours. You are not supposed to do anything to it. As soon as it came into contact with the trim, the wipe new soaked into the plastic and spread itself out. Just keep your nose out of the bottle, I really wish I hadn't smelled it.Īpplication pretty easy, and even easier with the brush. Wipe New smells like a horrible mix of a portapotty, Castrol Super Clean, and some horrible attempt to mask the chemicals with some kind of berry.
As you can see from the pictures, the trim is grey and faded. I felt bad because my dad has been asking if I've used it yet, so yesterday I tried it out on our family's Explorer. This has been sitting in my garage since. My dad got me this for Christmas last year after he stopped to talk to some stranger in a parking lot about how he got his truck's trim looking so shiny.
